Move-out inspections move fast. Property managers check a predictable short list, and a handful of overlooked details cause most deposit deductions.

What gets inspected first

• Inside the oven, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher seals.
• Cabinet and drawer interiors — crumbs and liners left behind.
• Tub, tile grout, and around the base of toilets.
• Baseboards, door frames, switch plates, and light fixtures.
• Window tracks, blinds, and patio or balcony floors.

Do this last

Clean floors after everything else is finished, and take dated photos of every room once you're done. Documentation settles most disputes before they start.
